With over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine and emergency care, Dr. Tamara Beckstead brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to Silvercreek Animal Hospital. She became the owner and medical director in the mid-1990s and has since ensured that the clinic remains an independently owned and community-focused practice.

Dr. Beckstead is a graduate of the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College, one of the most highly respected veterinary programs in North America. Her career has included work in multiple emergency veterinary hospitals, where she developed strong expertise in urgent and complex medical cases. She has also previously owned another veterinary clinic, gaining valuable experience in both clinical practice and veterinary business management.
