Digital X-Rays for Pets

Fast, Accurate Imaging to Support Better Care

At Silvercreek Animal Hospital, we use digital radiography (X-rays) to help diagnose a wide range of health conditions quickly and safely. X-rays give us a detailed view of your pet’s bones, joints, and internal organs—allowing us to detect issues that can’t be seen during a physical exam alone.

    • Broken bones or fractures

    • Arthritis and joint problems

    • Tumors or abnormal growths

    • Heart or lung conditions

    • Bladder stones

    • Foreign objects

    • Dental issues (with dental X-rays)

  • Our modern digital X-ray system provides high-quality images with lower radiation exposure and faster results than traditional film. Most pets tolerate X-rays well, but in some cases (especially if they're in pain or very anxious), mild sedation may be recommended to keep them comfortable and still.
